Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you might be able to. But you have to do a little twitting under sound in your "System Preferences." Whenever, I connect to my speak to my MBA the sound come on great. Once in a while I would have to go to Sound setting in "System Preference" to select the output source. I also think that your iMac will recognize as two speakers rather than one speaker. However, one speak is strong enough for music, movie, gaming. My roommate and my neighbor has ask me to sell to them many time.
