connecting to TV The quality of the sound is compromised when i connect companion 5 to a TV using the aux port in the control pod . Is there any other way where i can get the quality sound as one that comes when connected to PC using the usb cable .

I think the sub might have sound enhance that make the sound a lot better. The USB is connect in to the sub than two cables out to right and left speakers. I never try on my TV before but play music on my computer via USB make the sound a lot better.

The Companion 5 is intended for desktop use with a computer. It can thus only accept high-quality digital input via a connection to a computer via USB. Because this product is not designed for use in a home-theater setup there are no appropriate inputs for that type of equipment. You would find the correct inputs and a much better overall TV listening experience from one of our Cinemate products.
