• The Companion 5 multimedia speaker system will definitely be able to work with an iMac, or any other computer that has a USB 2.0 high speed connection. Because this is a fully integrated system, you would not be able to add any additional speakers; however, this system is our premier computer speaker system which offers fully immersive sound. The Companion 5 system is only intended to be used in the same room as the computer.
