A:AnswerHi Bill, you can replace your outdoor speakers with any in our range. Please be aware our outdoor speakers are passive and will require an amplifier to power them.
A:AnswerHi! Thank you for your question. These speakers are environmental Speakers and are designed to be installed outside. This means you can leave them outside even if its raining.

A:AnswerI've seen these speakers used at a couple miniature golf courses at the beach. The sound was incredible, which drove me to buy them for around my outdoor kitchen.
A:AnswerHello,
Thanks for the question. We do not recommend using The Free Space 51 speakers indoors. They need to be buried or screwed down to a hard surface. It has a very powerful driver firing downward.
Hope this helps.
Thank you again, and have a great day.

A:AnswerHi, Thanks for the great question. Free-space 51s are fine for using 2 pairs (4 speakers)..Each speaker pair connected to the amplifier requires power handling of 100 W and a minimum nominal impedance of 8 ohms. If using a single pair of speakers, each speaker must be a 4 ohm minimum. If using two pairs of speakers, each speaker must be 8 ohm minimum. Have a great day!
A:AnswerThank you for your inquiry. The Free Space 51 speakers are compatible with amplifier/receivers that provide 10-100 W per channel, 4-8 ohms. The 251 speakers are compatible with amplifier/receivers that provide 10-200 W per channel, 4-8 ohms. You can use these in any configuration you'd like, but be sure that the speakers aren't overloaded beyond these specifications. We hope this helps!
A:AnswerHello Mike. Thank you for the great question. This sounds like it will be an awesome outdoor setup! There are a few ways you could accomplish this. You could look for a multi-room power amplifier, but since you mentioned streaming music is going to be important, we'd recommend trying two of our Bose SA-5 Amplifiers. These amplifiers can accommodate up to 4 FreeSpace 51 Speakers on each amplifier. They will have both Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi streaming capabilities with our free Bose SoundTouch Application. Even though you would have two separate amplifiers, you will be able to group them within the SoundTouch App, so that all 8 speakers can be playing the same music. We hope this helps to answer your question!
A:AnswerUse a speaker selector switch and connect it to your "B Speaker" outlet. Make sure the switch you buy has impedance matching circuitry so you don't damage the amp or the speakers
