The battery is described as a 20-hour battery. You cannot use them while they are charging. You would likely find it more convenient to purchase a longer USB-C to USB -A cable for use on a plane. BUT, please see recently posted review with comments on Auto Shut-Off feature, and search it on the Bose Community support website. There are a number of complaints about using these headphones on airplanes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recently fly on a 12 hour flight and as long as the device is fully charged you wont need to recharge them. Mine still had juice in them when i got there. They last about 20 hours.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you should be able to charge them with a portable charger or the USB chargers in the plane seating area. If you charge it up before you leave, it should last over 15 hours. When you turn it on, it tells you how many hours of charge you have left.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Fully charged they will perform for approximately 20 hours. The headphones charge via the included usb-c connector which can be plugged into an airplane seat USB port
