“When I connect another (non-Bose) amplifier (I tried with different models) with an RCA cable to the Line out of the Bose amplifier, I get no signal from it. Does the line out work only if I connect another Bose amplifier?”

Hi Mario. Yes, it works only with the same Bose Music amplifier. The first amp is set up as a “main” amp and then subsequent amps can be connected as “supplemental” amps using the analog line-in/line-out connectors on the back of the amp. Only the “main” amp will show up in the app, but it will control all of the downstream “supplemental” amps and play the same content.
