- Answer No. At least, not this variation I've got. The cord is needed if being used someplace like an airliner where you need to plug into a jack. Also better if you think you'd just be careless and lose wireless ear buds. But this version is corded.

- Answer Hey Moe. The lengths of the headset are as follows: earbud to mic/remote (Y-joint): 9" (22.9 cm). Mic/remote (Y-joint) to control module: 34" (86.4 cm). Control module to source: 1½" (3.8 cm).

QuestionCan they plug in to airplane seat jacks for use listening to movies and music?

- Answer Yes. I've used them on a couple of different airlines. They might not work if there's some weird plug. But for the standard jack, (I think it's 1/8"), no problem.

- Answer I am sure they will but this is my 2nd pair and my initial pair I have had for 4 years or so before the wires frayed. I wouldn't worry about the battery.

- Answer I have had my first set for some time and the noise cancelling feature is advertised at 16 hours. Though I can't certify the 16 hours I have had my set turned on for 8-10 hours and still had battery live left over.

- Answer I don't see why not...they do not extend much beyond your ears and are very comfortable. If you can wear any earbuds, you can use these. A disadvantage may be that you may not be able to hear sounds around you very well which may pose a safety risk.

- Answer Yes these do plug in as I totally agree and did not want Blue tooth either. They do have noise cancelling as an option that runs on a battery and works very well.

- Answer Hello Northernguy! Great question. While the audio playback would be the same just about any device, the phone calls respond differently between the two platforms. To help with that, we instead designed two separate Inline microphones to meet Apple and Android specific requirements. Hope that helps! Thank you again.

- Answer I have a subscription to SiriusXM as well. If you have these (iPhone version) headphones, just download the SiriusXM app to your phone. Log into your SiriusXM account and listen to your SiriusXM music via your phone and the app. Then when you use these earbuds, you can control the volume from the buttons on the cable, while your phone is in your pocket or stowed away.

- Answer I think you are asking if it increases the effectiveness of the QC20's if one wears a pair of passive over-the-ear muffs over them. The answer is an unequivocal yes-there is substantial additional effectiveness by using this strategy.
