I have a subscription to SiriusXM as well. If you have these (iPhone version) headphones, just download the SiriusXM app to your phone. Log into your SiriusXM account and listen to your SiriusXM music via your phone and the app. Then when you use these earbuds, you can control the volume from the buttons on the cable, while your phone is in your pocket or stowed away.

The in-line remote and microphone are specifically designed for use with Apple or Samsung/Android devices and will not allow for volume control with your XM radio receiver.
