“Are they good for transcription? I am looking to purchase a new set of earbuds/headset in hopes of not having to buy a pair for a long while. Noise canceling is great and all but I want to make sure it is sufficient for dictation (not just music). I wouldn't mind paying a little extra knowing it will be worth the money of course. Bose is a highly reputable name for sure and I do enjoy my Bose speakers for my audio entertainment center. I just want to make sure it's not just geared towards music/movie sound enhancement (if that makes sense). Also are the cushions soft enough since I will be needing the earbuds in for hours on end in a day? Thank you.”

Please try again later.Having used these for cell phone calls, I can tell you that the people at the other end of the call tell me they that my voice is quite clear - this would be important for transcription, but these seem to be mainly designed for listening, not recording. The ear pieces take some getting used to, and I find myself frequently adjusting them, but they are quite comfortable. The ambient noise cancellation is the main reason to purchase these. If noise cancellation is not important to you, you might want to purchase a less expensive model in the same line. You won't need the clumsy, and not-replaceable battery pack.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They have multiple options as far as the specific type of ear bud you use. May have to spend about 15 extra on then from the website thought. Most ear buds don't fit my ears but I find them comfortable. I habe had 2 generations of bose, I didn't find them as comfy personally snd they just didn't last. I use ear buds every day. Gym work and home, these have worked for me so far. Only had them for about 2 months though, I would suggest buying the warranty for any ear buds.

I do invoices on my phone for work. these things had me so frustrated I wanted to throw them out the window. they had a very very sensitive microphone. I work in an area that has some high noise people on the other end of my phone calls with frequently complained about how bad it sounded on their end
