• Power to the headphones is required for the Active Noise Cancellation to function.

• I do not think it charges while playing. I have Xbox series x and it does not. The USB adapter it comes with is only to add the volume control knob for PC, which is connected to headphones via headphone Jack. There is a separate port on headphones for charging while not in use.
