The airline adaptors are two prong plug in audio adaptors and are pretty much obsolete. Airlines now use a single plug like most electronics. I have had an airline adaptor for other headphones for about ten years and have never used it. Doesn’t have it, doesn’t need it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most US domestic airlines use a one prong plug for audio. There are several international carriers that use the two prong plug especially in business and first class. ie Cathay Pacific and Japan Airways
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because they can cause a loopback in the system and cause shock or ignition when plugging powered units into a closed loop. Instead of the adaptor there is now a warning included that says to never use any for the above reasons.
