I had a set that was stolen. It was 3 years old and worked fine. The new one is remarkably better in all areas.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have owned almost every version of Bose noise canceling headphones that have been on the market. They hold up well. If you’re getting crackling or static either have a weak battery or a bad cable. Obvious what to do with the battery and bad cables are replaced by Bose free of charge. I’ve also had the Sony and the Panasonic noise canceling headphones did not like them as well as the Bose products. I’m very sensitive to noise due to a TBI. Bose noise canceling headphones make it possible for me to be comfortable on an airplane.
