They block out a significant amount of wind noise when the noise cancelation is turned to "Low", as the sensitivity of the outside microphones is turned down and it doesn't pick up as much wind. They may actually block too much sound to be safe for riding, however.

I tried it and somehow noise canceling is more suited for a constant noise like engine noise or road noise than an ever changing noise like wind. In fact the wind noise blocks out the music somehow. They’re perfect for jet engine noise or a vacuum sweeper but to my knowledge there are no NC headphones that will block wind noise. You’d be better off with “in ear” buds like the Beats X or something that actually physically blocks out wind noise.
