They are most effective in settings with lots of high-frequency sounds. If you plug in directly to your TV, the audio may cut out from the TV speakers but this will depend on its features. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on the loudness of the speaker. If you use the max volume, none of the headphones will cancel that sound. Using regular sound would be ok. The upgrade is great for the second version which is great to purchase. However, if you already have the qc35. DO NOT BUY. Unless you have money to burn.
