Are they good for airplane travel null

Short answer is yes. However, I recommend looking at 3M's WorkTunes Bluetooth headset if you're looking for music/audio in a loud environment. Bose requires you to use their app to connect by Bluetooth and doesn't support connecting to any Bluetooth enable audio devise.

Highly recommended. I have had several models of Bose over the years and just got the newest before my transoceanic flight from the west coast (long!). They are the best noise cancelling technology and worked great as before. Due to my desire not to charge them mid trip I used the connection cord rather than bluetooth to my iPhone. . You will need adaptors for the airplane double pin jack if you want to see in-flight films depending on the airline.
