• Just tried it and with the cable plugged in and connected to a source the noise canceling works.

• Yes, you can use a wired connection instead of Bluetooth.

• Yes but I believe the noise Canceling doesn’t work while hard wired. It comes with the cable and the one on the headphone side is smaller than 1/8.
