So many different answers... It goes to show you that audio quality really is in the ear of the beholder. Personally, I found that these produced adequate bass but it was never overwhelming and they never really "thumped." These definitely aren't headphones for "bass-heads." The QC35's don't produce a flat sound, like the sound that audiophiles/audiophools over want. The bass is boosted as are the highs (producing a commercial v-shaped sound signature) but the bass isn't as pronounced like it is with the Beats Studio Wireless or even the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless headphones (the later being the most bass-heavy). If you didn't like the QC25's, you aren't going to like these. Both had "slightly higher than average" bass output though. It sounds like you want something with even more thump. You aren't really going to find a proper pair of wireless headphones, that have good noise cancellation, and produce large amounts of bass. Yeah, the Beats Studio Wireless headphones technically have noise cancellation but it sucks and might as well not be there. You might want to check out the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless headphones though. They have very pronounced, yet clear bass. I think that they sound better than any wireless headphone currently on the market (even better than the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 headphones) due to their bass levels. They also have pronounced mids and highs along with a really wide sound stage. But they don't have noise cancellation. You also need to buy the XL earpads ($20) for them as the included earpads are too shallow and become uncomfortable after a short time of listening (less than an hour).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its challenging to explain the audio fidelity of BOSE EQ audio drivers without sound and only text. My best comparison is to Beats Studio Wireless since both boast adaptive active acoustic noise cancelling and are entry level upper class over ear headsets. To start out, the Bose QC 35 noise cancelling will block the sound of you tossing your Beats to the curb. It crushes the Beats Studios. The sensation you feel, like the QC 25, is like you are in a pressurized airplane cabin. If you had a chance to listen to the QC 25, the audio will be familiar in the QC 35. Bose updated the software so that at lower volumes the bass is adjusted (raised) to enhance the lower frequencies usually lost at lower volume and make the song feel more powerful. The describe the difference in bass is this. Bose QC 35 has very crisp bass, a solid punch, like a snap of a snare or the thud of a bass drum. Beats would sound more like a rumble, a heavy slide from the impact to silence, like rolling thunder in the distance. Beats, the headphones themselves, are also heavier and denser which combined with the artificial bass amplifier give incredibly power audio while the QC 35 sound softer and more natural. A bass line in the QC 35 written onomatopoeically would be like thud thud thud thud while Beats would be boom boom boom boom. One is not better than the other, regardless of what people say. You are you, and audio quality is something more of a preference than a statistic. I would visit a store to listen to both as well as other options to get a good feel for how they compare. Like I said, its difficult to describe the difference in sound with text. I hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This was a big sticking point with me, i bought the Sound Link and these and i think the sound link are a little clearer and have a little better bass (depending on the song and format of the song) but these still are amazing. everything is very clear sounding and crisp. The noise cancling does help also in many ways to help improve audio clarity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bass on these headphones is very impressive. Have a nice deep thump to them and have a button where you can turn the extra Bass function on and off according to the sound you want.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I enjoy and listen to music with a substantial amount of bass, I would say they are that same as the QC 25 as far as sound quality but probably just a tad bit quieter. Bass is sufficient enough for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good but if you like more bass as you say, get something else.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They have good clean bass. Not to worry and lots of volume too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not an audiophile either. I think the bass is a bit underwhelming at lower volumes and a bit better at louder volumes. I have an iPhone and I went into the music app settings and used the enhanced bass equalizer to pump it up a bit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have been disappointed with the bass profile from other Bose products, you will find the same from these. I love the headphones, and the bass is enough for me. I would like a little more, but it doesn't change my happiness with my purchase, and I wouldn't trade them for another brand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Way too much bass. Kills all mid & high in music. Good for hip hip or tap. Not rock
