I hope I am too late but yes! this headphones are not based on Bluetooth for ANC, actually on any Bluetooth BOSE headphone the auxiliary cable takes over the Bluetooth as soon as you plug it in. Is the same quality.

I don't think you need to worry. However, your better bet might be some simple non-electronic earplugs if concerned about electronics. Or, check out Bose's wired options like the QC15s.
