- Answer I just chatted with a Bose Expert regarding wired mode on the new QuietComfort and QuietComfort Ultra headphones. While they do come with an adapter to plug into an in-flight entertainment system, Bose confirmed that, in wired mode, ANC is disabled.

- Answer My personal opinion it’s more to connect with other Bose products if you’re using the app but as far as I know I used mine with out the app all the controls are on the side you swipe to lower it or raise the volume and the other buttons to select Bluetooth and change songs and answer the phone hopefully this helps

- Answer You can set custom noise cancelling modes through the Bose Music app, between aware and quiet mode. Lowering noise cancelling can help perceived pressure from the noise cancelling.
