“I now am thinking that all I have to do to be able to use Bose wireless speakers (809281-1100) with my present Bose Sound Touch 130 is to exchange the sound bar that came with the system with a sound touch sound bar 300. Right? How about the sub woofer?”

Yes, the Bose Surround Speakers are compatible with the Soundbar 300. However, the Soundbar 300 cannot be connected to, or used in conjunction with, the SoundTouch 130 system. You can use the Bass Module 500 or Bass Module 700 with the Soundbar 300 should you wish to add a subwoofer to your package.
