the Bose 300 soundbar...is that a 4k? null

Since the soundbar does not transfer video it doesnt need to be 4K. It is taking the Audio off your TV only so if your TV is 4K you still have 4K. If you have a full blown surround sound system with a AV/Receiver which does control your audio as well as your video and the switching of the components that would have to be 4K compatible this does not do that. That is why it is easier to use with the switching all controlled by your TV.
