“Can you butt the soundbar as close as you can at the bottom of your TV when wall mounting it. In other words, would it effect the sound. The bottom of the TV is 31” from the floor. The bar sits on a short cabinet right now.”

Doesn’t effect sound at all. We just had ours mounted that way. Amazing sound. We haven’t even added our older model speakers. The sound bar has amazing sound & coverage for an extremely large area. Well worth the price.

We recommend the sound bar to be a few inches away from or in front of the TV, although this can be positioned wherever you prefer. We would also recommend that you run the AdaptIQ audio calibration to maximise the quality of sound regardless of where you have the soundbar positioned. We hope this answers your question!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bose recommends the sound bar to be a few inches away from or in front of the TV, some of the lows come from behind and to the sides of the bar. Ours sits about 4" in front of a 60" TV.
