- Answer I don’t know the wattage but if you want bass get the Bose 500 or 700 sound bar and add the subwoofer

QuestionCan I still use my Verizon remote control to control the volume?

- Answer I’ve been able to connect my Directv and my Samsung remotes to the bar to control the power and volume. For other settings you have to use the Bose remote that comes with the bar. This remote is nice too. I connected this to my Directv Genie and control all the functions. I have set my bar to automatically shutdown after an hour of not using it.

QuestionHow loud is the sound output? I have hearing aids

- Answer My wife has this on her TV. I wear hearing aids. The sound is very clear and crisp. There is a special adjustment you can make on the sound bar to enhance clarity of voices. She has this feature turned ON and there is truly a difference. In Fact, I often claim to have her turn it down because it seems loud. I can hear and understand the voices fine and I am on the boarder of "severe" hearing loss.

QuestionI bought a Panasonic TC-P605S30 60" TV on 9/29/2011. Will this Bose 5 TV Soundbar work with this TV? Is there anything extra I would have to buy?

- Answer I'm incline to say yes it was just a basic hook-up and plugged into the wall. the tech that hang the television was nice enough to plug it in.

- Answer Hi, Thanks for the great question. To adjust the Bass: On the remote control, press the Bass button. The status indicator blinks white three times. Press + to increase bass. Press - to decrease bass. Press the Bass button to exit the bass adjustment mode. The status indicator blinks white three times and the system saves your settings. Regards, Tony G - Bose Support

QuestionI have an LG roku smart tv and wanted the “sourround sound theater experience” is this the same? Sorry for the stupid question as I have no clue. When I was married we had a BOSE surround sound home theater system so I wasn’t sure if this was the same

- Answer Hi Ashley, Thanks for the question. Bluetooth is not a requirement for connecting TV audio. You can connect the Solo 5 using an analog cable (dual RCA) or digital optical cable. The cables will be provided. Hope that helps. Take care, Mohsin - Bose Support
