- Answer I bought one as a gift that's used with a 55" TV which is used to watch TV shows and sports regularly. As long as you're not wanting a sound system that has a subwoofer this is a great choice. It takes up very little space and has a very rich, clean sound! Depending on the size of your room, you may want more sound in which case I'd recommend consideration of the SoundTouch 300. It is significantly more in price, but the sound will blow you away.

- Answer Didn't yours come with the mounts for the wall? If not, how about installing a shelf or wooden block big enough to hold the soundbar in place.

QuestionWe recently purchased a new Sony 55X700D TV and a Sony 390 sound bar. We could not eliminate a delay in the sound matching the picture. Sony could not figure it out so we had to return the sound bar. Does the Solo 5 have any adjustment for syncing sound?

- Answer I do not have any syncing issues, so I haven't really checked or looked, but i do not believe it does. However , the sales rep informed me for me to install the speaker from my cable box to the speaker...NOT the TV to the speaker. I tried and for some reason going from the TV to the speaker, i couldn't get the BASS to work and couldn't get any real loudness. Switched over to the cable box to speaker and everything worked great. Very strange that 2 sony components didn't sync together though.

- Answer I turned the volume off and have just the sound bar, sound coming from these new tvs aren't really that good anyways. It is way enough sound in my opinion and it sounds incredible

- Answer This soundbar does not have HDMI Input. It only has Digital Optical Toslink input, Bluetooth, or 3.5mm. It comes with an adapter for RCA audio to 3.5mm. I run all devices to the TV through HDMI, then use Digital Optical from the TV Output into the sound bar. TV will need to be configured for external audio vs. internal speakers most of the time.

- Answer i have no experience in your proposed setup ... as the bose utilizes an optical audio out, i would be concerned a bit that the Polk will not be synced with the Bose ... trial and error - - i believe that Best Buy would allow a return ( re-stocking fee ?? ) if submitted within tight time lines
