“Will this Soundbar support DTS in near future via a firmware/software update ? Also, is this soundbar enough for a 200 sq ft living room ? Or should 700 be considered for that ?”

The 500 is easily more than enough for a 200 sq foot room.

We cannot comment on the future releases via software for our products, but would be happy to try and help here. At the time of posting, the Soundbar 500 does not support DTS, but the Soundbar 700 does. If this is to be changed in a future software update, we will make this information publicly available on our social channels, so please keep an eye out there! As for the room size, we cannot say whether this provide you with the level of audio you are after as everyone has a different opinion. We would recommend that, if possible, you visit a store and trial out the Soundbar 500 in comparison to the 700, or keep an eye on the return period for the product you purchase to ensure that you are 100% happy with the choice that you have made!
