What kind of CD player could I hook up with this? null

Any kind, through the 3.5mm headphone jack. As long as your CD player has a headphone out - and surely it does - you can get a cable to connect to the aux in of this unit.

Many of our customers find that the small portable cd players are a great solution. You can connect with a 3.5mm audio cable to the auxiliary jack in the back. While Bose doesn't make one, there are many other manufacturers that do.
