“If you get 2 of these or any bluetooth for that mater. Will they work togather as one? I have not use any before and now have one. Just trying to understand how they work.”

bluetooth receiver ( speaker) actively pairs with one source at a time. conceivably if you had two and each was paired with a different source streaming the same content ( iphone and ipad playing same song from your library for example) you could get the effect your asking about. short answer: no
