• More bass comes off the back of a speaker. It a bass port.

• Part of the grid covers the opening for the rear facing passive bass radiator. The other bass radiator faces the front and sits beside the main speaker.

• Those are breathing holes for all the miniature musicians needed to play your type of music-- let them breathe
