QuestionCan I hook up my MP3 player to this speaker and have good sound levels in the car while driving? If so, do I just use the earbud output on the MP3 player to link to the speaker?

- Answer I can only answer half of this question because I only utilize the Bluetooth connection with my iPhone. As far as sound performance in the car, it’s barely enough to say that it’s ok. My Bose sits in front of my center console where my navigation screen is at. The music level does get loud, but it’s NOT putting out any noticeable bass or lows, loud for highway driving with the windows up. It’s relatively ok in the midrange and vocals. It works good with voices, things like sport talk radio. For some reason, it’s volume is poor on telephonic calls. It’s nowhere near good enough to replace my car stereo, but it’ll just get me by while my car stereo system gets fixed.

- Answer Thank you for your inquiry. Only if your radio has the ability to transmit audio wirelessly to Bluetooth speakers. The SoundLink Micro Bluetooth speaker does not have a 3.5mm audio input. We hope this helps!

- Answer The SoundLink Max speaker was not officially conceived for this purpose, partly as standard Bluetooth processing could introduce a slight delay between your singing and the speaker's reproduction of your voice.

- Answer Yes. By default, it will turn off automatically after 20 minutes of inactivity. To disable the auto-off feature, just press and hold the Multifunction and Volume + buttons. Alternatively, you can use the Bose Connect app to select an amount of time before your speaker will automatically turn off.

- Answer Best Buy i bought my 2nd Bose Max open box. In Brand new condition and saved over 120.00 dollars and you can not tell from brand new. I highly recommend open nox but only EXCELLENT CONDITION ! YOU'LL SAVE AND HAVE A NEW SPEAKER WITH WARRANTY !!!!

QuestionMy question is about the battery life. Not the six hours it will play but how many years it will be able to recharge. It says the battery will wear out and then what? I have a useless speaker that can't be recharged? Nothing answers this for me.

- Answer There’s really no telling how many charge cycles the battery has b4 it can no longer hold a charge and has to be plugged in at all times just like the fact that nobody can really tell how many times you can charge your phone until the battery can no longer hold a charge like it used to. All products that used lithium ion battery like this speaker and other speakers and phone batteries, they all have charge cycles depends how high the the battery capacity is and how often the user (you) utilizes charging your Devices. 1 year manufacturers warranty is generous enough to know that your product is covered in any case it doesn’t hold a charge at all within 1 year since purchased date. Hope this helps but if you have more technical questions, you are better off calling manufacturer directly and get the answers you need.
