• You can definitely use them outside, but I would definitely not LEAVE them outside. NOT weather-proof.

• Hello Ron. That is a good question. The SoundLink Mini Portable Bluetooth speaker can be brought outside, but it is not weatherproof. You would need to make sure it does not get wet.

• No, the ports are not covered and it is not weatherproof. The Charge 2+ is "splashproof" but again the ports are not covered there either.
