• I don't think you can buy the battery. They, (Bose,) will do out of warranty that includes the battery replacement for a flat $75 and you pay shipping 1 way, domestic in the US.

• it's rechargeable - comes with the charger base - you shouldn't need batteries!

• You cant it has to be charged with an ac adapter.
