“Aux input playback I've read the answer to issues with 5.1 playback but I'm having the same problem when connecting all of my devices ( all Apple) to the speaker. Almost as if it's not playing in stereo so on some tracks I lose vocal, on others bass etc. Is this to do with the settings on my devices? I use an iPhone 5s, iPad 1st gen and 2nd gen iPod nano. I would have thought these devices would play back exactly as they do when using Bluetooth connection but they don't. Any advice on this. I've taken one back because of it and it seems I didn't need to but the staff in the shop didn't question it.”

I'm not sure if you have a bad connection if you are using aux. input to connect your devices instead of Bluetooth. I use mine to connect to my laptop through aux cable. The bass isn't as deep when connected via cable. It could also be the cable itself. Quality actually does matter when using aux. cables. I notice a difference when I am using an aux cable I got from the dollar store and one that I got from BB. The overall sound quality is better using the cable from BB. Not sure if this will help or not.
