- Answer This is just a case for the Bose Soundlink mini. It’s not a speaker... don’t make the mistake I did. So No... it won’t work with Alexa. But the Bose Mini Soundlink will.

- Answer Hello JF, Thank you for posting this question. Just so we avoid any confusion, this question is posted for the SoundLink mini cover, not the speaker. Nevertheless, the iPod Shuffle should pair with speaker via Bluetooth as long as it supports A2DP. Hope that helps! Have a great one.

QuestionI use a bluetooth speaker with my desktop pc instead of plug-in speakers. How good is the volume (loudness) on this Bose mini? My current JAM and Phillips bluetooth speakers do not produce enough loudness.

QuestionIf I leave the charging cradle plugged into the wall, will it continue to draw power even after the speaker is charged like a cell phone charger would? What if I leave the cradle plugged in but take the speaker out of the cradle?

- Answer This is just a case - - the Bose mini Soundlink is compatible with the echo dot - that’s how I use it. If you want a speaker device with built in Alexa I recommend the New Echo. Or the old echo (1st Gen) I have all three. Don’t make the mistake I made and think this is a speaker... the ad is for a stupid plastic protective case. I was too lazy to send it back... but it’s pretty much worthless.

- Answer Thank you for your inquiry. Since the iPhone 7 Plus does not have a built-in headphone jack, you would need to use a lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter. Once this is in place, you could connect a 3.5mm audio cable between the iPhone 7 Plus and the aux input on the SoundLink Mini Bluetooth speaker. We hope this helps! - Brian

QuestionAn earlier answer said "When connected to an outlet it does not receive its power from the battery, only from the A/C current."..is that the same for a USB port? ...I just leave it plugged into a powered USB port all the time to use as a computer speaker.
