• A:Answer Yes, it does perfectly. I've been using a cover for quite some time now and have had no issues whatsoever. The cradle and the speaker is designed in a manner that the cover doesn't limit or impact its functionality. You should definitely go ahead with the cover for the speaker in order to protect your device.

Q: QuestionRed Blinking Light and Won't Turn onI recently opened one of these speakers from a box that was about a year old. It had never been used before, and so I plugged it into charge. I got a red blinking light as it was charging. I figured the light would go away after some time, but the red light will not go away and the speaker will not turn on. Is there anything I can do?

• A:Answer The red blinking light means low battery. It should go off once it has a charge. I'm guessing it isn't charging correctly. Possibly failed battery or charger? Return it if possible.

• A:Answer The only cable that will work would be an auxiliary cable that you would plug into the headphone jack on the back of your TV.

Q: QuestionSound comes out only from Front "Bose" side... Help!After getting this as a graduation present, I've had this for 7 months and I've noticed my speaker lost its loudness. It only plays sound from the side that says "Bose." Isn't music supposed to come out from both sides? What can I do to manually fix this? I wasn't given the receipt... how can I get this checked or fixed? Thank you!

• A:Answer The speakers are directional. They face the front only (the Bose side). Not sure why they sound more quiet though.

Q: QuestionCharging problem in foreign countryI bougt SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker a few month ago in U.S. And I'm staying at South Korea which uses 220V, 60Hz as standard voltage system. Can I charge the Mini without voltage converter?

Q: QuestionBose speaker randomly turning offI don't understand why my Bose speaker continues to randomly turn off even with a full battery charge, there's nothing obscuring the connection from the Bluetooth device (my phone) to the speaker itself. And the software has been updated.

• A:Answer Right now the Sound Link Mini 2 is selling for $20 more than the original. If it's new and you have a reception you can exchange it if you pay the difference. I will warn you that in my experience the original has deeper sound and is louder, so I wouldn't exchange it. Also battery life was same or worse with the 2 in my experience (contrary to what is advertised)

• A:Answer It depends on the sound quality of the file you are playing from your pc/mac. Try playing from youtube at 720p or 1080p and you will see the difference in audio and video on your pc.

• A:Answer We found our signal stopped if phone call or text came through when using our iPhones. We started using our iPads and that helped a lot. Sometimes we get a pause but resumes in few seconds.

• A:Answer When traveling is always safer to buy a travel adapter, this days they go for $20. Worth the investment if you ever travel again... they have all the plugs for Asia, Europe, Australia. If you love your electronics do them a favor and protect them!

• A:Answer The original is selling for $180 online and in store, although many stores are selling out of this older model. It has better sound (in my opinion) then the new Mini 2, so it's worth snatching one up before they're all gone.
