- Answer This speaker can only pair with a Bluetooth device. So the only way you could pair it with a previous model is to have them both connected to the same device via Bluetooth if the device allows it. It does work plugged in via USB while charging. It claims to connect up to 33 feet with Bluetooth connection.

- Answer Yeah, sad to say it didn’t come with the adapter. I give this speaker to my dad and I didn’t get a chance to check before they open it. But I think it doesn’t come with adapter
