The rechargeable battery is located within the Bluetooth module. The Bluetooth module is detachable from the headset and is replaceable (the headset can also be used with a connected cable). The battery itself is not user serviceable. For further information regarding service options, please contact our technical support team who can assist. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not believe it is. But I have had no problems with Bose replacing the device if the battery fails. It's rare but I have had some eventually go bad. Just had to call Bose and tell them and they RMA it and sent me a new one every time. They are good at standing behind the products they sell.
