I have the on ear type. I think the around ear headphones might cut out a bit of the ambient noise (they're not noise canceling), but may be a little uncomfortable while working up a sweat working out. I did notice that the battery life for the on ear type is 15 hours while the around ear battery life is only 7 hours.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably depends upon personal preference. I haven't tried the in-ear, but the over-ear are great. I got them mainly for the gym. I powerlift and bodybuild. A lot of free weights and some machine work. I very seldom need to take them off for whatever lifting movement I'm doing. Stay in place fine on the stationary bike or treadmill when I'm doing cardio. My coach had me get him a pair.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These tend to fall off of me if I lean forward, go into the store and try them out.... especially for gym use, you might want to think about the in ear option... They do sound really nice though
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would suggest around the ear for the gym. I have over the ear, the quality is GREAT!!! I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On ear. Around the ear may be too hot and bulky.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I prefer on the ear headphones to block out external noise, but they do tend to get sweaty. For a guy, since men tend to sweat more, I would suggest over the ear.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I tried the around the ear, they're pretty huge compared to the size of my head and I couldn't wear them with glasses. I'm very happy with the on ear.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On ear is more comfortable
