The cords are more sturdy then you think . I use them with my work out and at work .

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They are designed to be light, so yes the cords are thin. However, they will hold up just fine for normal use. They will not hold up t abuse though. When you store them in their case, roll them up, you do not want to fold them or bend them. The main place to be careful is at the connector end. I had a pair of these for about 6 years, I just replaced them with the new version. Mine still worked after many years, but I couldn't pass up the $39.99 Black Friday sale.
