• Only if the audio port on the plane is for a single port; most planes require an adapter which you can connect these headphones.

• Yes they do work on aircraft. You might need the two-pin adapter for older aircraft. However, as good as they are I would highly recommend the Bose Quiet Comfort noise canceling headphones if you are a frequent flyer. Greatly reducing the background noise of the aircraft, which is a major cause of fatigue. I always hated long flights until purchasing my Bose QC headphones. Now I can relax and actually watch the move, or turn on some very quiet music and sleep. Really, the only way to fly!
