Bose makes them for iPhone and for Samsung. I believe the jack for Samsung is a little different. So yes they would work for your note.

The pause/play/answer/hangup center button did work. I believe they have a version of this product for Samsung (Android / non-apple devices) so you should look at the side of the packaging to determine which version you are looking at.
