No, this is one of the nice things about Bose bluetooth products. They pair with your phone instantly and if you have multiple devises connected to it, you can play music on your laptop, and switch over to play music from your phone instantly.

Some of the newest models are getting better at it, but regardless, there's always going to be a somewhat noticeable delay. You'll notice it with music making apps too like Garageband; it's near impossible to play music along with a beat because the beat is slightly delayed so what you play is gonna be off. If you want zero delay, you have to be hardwired.
