• They always come out of my ear during high intensity activity. I usually have a scarf or headband on to hold them in place and that works fine

• The sound is Bose usual quality, which is outstanding. For fit and maintain ability while working out its very good I'm only a 3 to 5 mile runner. So for the long haul I can't say.

• I bought these for when I am gardening outdoors, which includes some carpentry. They will only fall off if you hit them ( cord ) with a hammer or shovel or if they snag on a tree- branch. Sound is superb. Never tried Beats as everything with " sound " that I own, is a BOSE product .
