“Will these work with a LGV30+ android phone? An answer said that all 3.5 mm aux cables are all identical, yet I see a samsung phone owner upset in another review claiming that these earbuds arent compatible with his phone. Please explain why this is so.”

These will work on an android (at least a Samsung Galaxy S5) as headphones only (the ones with no remote). The remote is not functionable. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and they sound great. Other than the non functionable remote, I have no complaints.
