Many thanks to everyone who answered! I did buy this item and you were all right - not only do they fit securely, but they're actually more comfortable than other earbuds I've owned. The sound is fabulous, well-balanced with a strong enough bass for rock that doesn't drown out the treble. I've only had them a day or so, but I'm hopeful that they'll continue to work so well going forward. Thanks again, folks!

While I haven't put them through the workout test, I have worn them while talking on the phone and doing activities like cleaning house, decorating my Christmas tree, etc. And they stayed in fine. I use the smallest of the 3 size covers that come with the ear buds. They feel bulky but not uncomfortable.

The addition of the tab and the way they are rotated to insert into the ear canal provides adequate securement. Not only do they stay in while sweaty and running, they are comfortable enough for me to where all day long!

I have purchased 6 other types of earbuds and all of them have to get crammed into your ear canal and either hurt, or it feels like you are under water when they are in. Yours fit snug and do not get put directly into the ear canal. HOWEVER, your Soundsport Free would have been perfect, but why on earth did Bose have the calls come over on just your right ear? Bose is the only company that has done this! If you would just change it to both ears like everyone else, you would sell a whole let more. Question - can I just buy your silicon piece to use with another mfr's earbuds?
