“these are waterproof does that mean I can use these while in the pool doing my swim laps”

Definitely would not try that. I am a runner and these things failed on my within 100 minutes of sweaty running.

These are sweat and water resistant, that is not the same thing as being waterproof. You should not be using these earbuds while swimming as they will break. You need to look for actual waterproof headphones, not ones that are water resistant.

The headphones are water resistant not water proof. They shouldn't be submerged in water.

Weather "RESISTANT", not weatherproof. I would not submerge them.
