We're sorry for the delay in responding. As has been pointed out by the other users, the SoundTouch 10 Speaker does require to be connected to a power outlet at all times for use, and does not house any kind of battery for portable use.

The Wave IV system must be of the SoundTouch variety to enable you to stream music between both products. Please bear in mind that SoundTouch does not allow you to send audio from the CD player to other speakers.
A:AnswerYou don’t need anything else, but you need the level of Sirius account that allows for streaming on other devices. If you have that kind of account, you just log on to your Sirius account within the Bose app.

Bose does not publish these specifications. The reason for this is that we believe such statistics do not add very much to an understanding of an audio product's acoustic characteristics and, even worse, can be misleading. Audio manufacturers make these measurements independent of industry standards, and in varying conditions.
Additionally, a single statistic is not a reliable measurement of a product's performance. One could, for instance, find a very expensive system with exactly the same specifications as a much less expensive system. On paper, the two would appear identical. The difference in performance, however, would be significant.
A better approach, we feel, is to listen to the product. We strongly urge you to make your own comparisons. Bose systems will surpass your expectations.
A:AnswerThat’s also happened to me, turn them all off and then turn them all on again and it should fix it if the speaker that is not playing is on. Make sure to check the top of the speaker that’s not working and confirm that the power button is on before turning them all off and on again
