QuestionCan speakers be paired?I want to hook up my XM receiver to a Soundtouch in my living room. Can I pair a second Soundtouch speaker in another room and listen to the XM music?

- Answer You can! You'll connect the two SoundTouch 10s via WiFi then when you choose the "Play Everywhere" option you'll be able to enjoy your music through both speakers.

- Answer Yes, however if you plan on using with any video a stereo pair will not be in sync with video. It is almost a 3 second delay. If you are just streaming music it is excellent.

QuestionCan I simply plug in flash drive through the usb port and just play my music....can I have in a shuffle mode?

- Answer Hi there! Thanks for your interest in our SoundTouch 10 system. The USB port on the SoundTouch 10 is entirely for the purpose of service for the product, and the system is not able to read this and play directly from this port. If you have music on an external drive/device, our suggestion is to migrate this music to a computer's hard drive or a NAS drive, and setup the music library through the SoundTouch app, which would allow you to play this music through the system. We hope this helps!

QuestionThis speaker sounds like just what I need with the exception of it not being rated for outside. I want to permanently mount it under the eves on my house. Will this work or no? I don’t want a rechargeable unit. Looking for permanent placement w/WiFi/outsi

- Answer Hello, thank you for your interest in our Soundtouch 10 System! The Soundtouch 10 uses Bluetooth version 4.0, so if your turntable supports this then yes, you would be able to connect this via Bluetooth! Alternatively, if your Turntable has an output through 3.5mm AUX, you would be able to connect it through this instead. We hope this helps answer your question and make the best decision!

QuestionWhy is the soundtouch app so awful. It works at the most 10% of the time even after it and the speaker are updated. Then, after a day or two it can't find the speaker and says it is offline and I must reboot speaker or router or re-add speaker. Ridiculous

- Answer I ran into exactly the same type of problems. I spent hours and hours to get it to work and then the next time I wanted to use it, here we go again. Their App really needs a lot of work. If you are just using it as Bluetooth, it is a little better but still sometimes won't work without rebooting.

QuestionCan we delete channels and reinstall new music per certain channels (numbers 1-6)? I think we made some mistakes via 1st time usage. We have Christmas music in with other type music. Would like to have had better 1st time instructions/resetting. Thanks!

You can change the preset by holding the preset button down on the speaker or by using the Soundtouch App. From the app, you can manage your SoundTouch® settings, add music services, explore local and global Internet radio stations, set and change presets, and stream music. - Answer Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, pressing the remote's skip/back button once will restart the current song. Pressing this button twice will skip back to the previous song. The Play/Pause button will start/stop the current song. We hope this helps! - Brian

QuestionI play my music through my TV, using centurylink prism.I would like to have wireless speakers in my bedroom, bathroom, etc. all working through the prism cable tv. Is this product what I should be looking at?

- Answer I have used the older version of these units for several years, the WiFi or Bluetooth on the new devices are an upgrade from only the Airplay options. I think it can be done, but I do not think you will be able to play to all devices at the same time. If you are using Pandora thru the TV, just link the account to the Bose system and then it can play everywhere, otherwise, it will most likely just link to an individual speaker at a time.

- Answer An addendum to an earlier answer. Some music sources aren't Chromecast-supported on IOS. An Android device or a Windows application is needed.

- Answer I have not made the connection yet myself. I searched the web and found a couple of options. Click the Bluetooth button once on top. ... In the TV's Bluetooth menu, scan for new devices. When the Bose speaker shows up in that search, use the TV remote to select it on the screen and pair to it. The other is to hard wire the speaker to the TV On your TV, insert one end of the selected audio cable into the corresponding audio output jack. Lay the speaker array grille side down on the table in front of your TV and locate the TV input connections. You should have a 3rd option. If you have paired the speaker to any other device. You downloaded the Bose app, then paired the speaker. This should work for your TV also.
