The system will show the device as busy. I have 5 devices and they can all be used independently at the same time or all as one system (same music playing). I have been able to shut down a device that was connected to another user and basically hijack the device after powering it back up.

Any device that is logged into the SoundTouch application on the same network can control the SoundTouch system simultaneously.
