• I used the system with a Samsung TV and a Dish Network Hopper. Both synced up perfectly with the Dish Remote, so that I now operate the TV, Hopper and Bose all through the Dish Remote. Works great for me.

• Hello Bob. Great question. Yes, the Bose system comes with a universal remote that can be programmed to control other devices including your Cable Box. Thanks!
