• Thank you for reaching out to ask. While it is not necessary to use a non-Bose audio receiver with this system (it comes with its own console), you certainly can run the output of a receiver into the console if that fits the individual needs of your set up.

• You actually hook all other components to the Bose system and the Bose system will configure all your systems to be compatible
